Service Description

International law requires that all staff involved in the shipping, packing, documentation, handling, or carriage of Dangerous Goods by Air must complete a comprehensive training course approved by the appropriate national competent authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) under the Air Navigation Order (Dangerous Goods Regulations). Our Dangerous Goods by Air Courses are fully approved by the CAA for Shippers, Packers and Freight Agents. Our instructors have vast experience in both the commercial and practical issues involved in the movement of Dangerous Goods by Air. They hold the required approvals from the CAA covering subject knowledge, course design, and presentation skills. Dangerous Goods by Air courses are based on the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations. 3-Day Course Programme All sessions are validated with exercises. Cancellation Policy

Dangerous Goods Academy – Booking, Cancellation & Waitlist Policy Booking Policy All Dangerous Goods Academy training courses must be paid in full at the time of booking. A confirmed booking secures a place on the selected training course, subject to availability. Delegates will receive a booking confirmation and joining instructions once payment has been processed. Cancellation & Transfer Policy We understand that sometimes plans change. The following terms apply to all cancellations: Transfer to Another Course Date In the first instance, if a delegate is unable to attend their booked course, we will offer to transfer the booking to an alternative training date (subject to availability). Course transfers must be requested at least 7 days prior to the original course start date. Refunds Refunds are available where a delegate chooses not to transfer their booking. Please note that all refunds are subject to a 4% processing fee to cover the cost charged by our payment processor. Refund amounts are calculated based on the notice given prior to the course start date: Notice Period Before Start Date Refund Available Processing Fee Deducted 4 weeks or more 100% 4% of total amount 3 weeks 75% 4% of total amount 2 weeks 50% 4% of total amount Less than 1 week No refund* N/A *Exceptions may be made in exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of Dangerous Goods Academy. Requests for exception must be made in writing with supporting documentation. Waitlist Policy If a course is fully booked, individuals may request to be placed on a waitlist. If a place becomes available, waitlisted individuals will be contacted in the order they joined the waitlist. If a place is offered, prompt payment will be required to confirm the booking.
